The Greater China Region (GCR) is a strategic market for AWS globally, with high visibility and ambitious growth targets. We've been here since 2013, and we haven't stopped investing since. So far, we've launched 3 regions, established three AI and IoT labs, developed tens of thousands of cloud talent, and we're not done yet. With Amazon's distinctive culture of innovation as well as leveraging resources from across the Amazon family, we're on a mission to use AWS's global strengths to support Greater Chinese customers, whether they're transforming themselves domestically or expanding globally.
The General Business (GB) team is to build the concrete foundation and growth engine for GCR, in terms of customer acquisition, development and tier-up, to fuel GCR future growth, by fully leveraging AWS' innate spirit of innovation, we seek out, inspire and guide Developers, Start-ups, SMBs and all not-yet-on-cloud enterprises to embark on their cloud journey with AWS as the default choice, and we empower and support customers to accelerate business growth and innovation globally.We’re looking for a Senior Territory BD, in this role, you will have the exciting opportunity to design and execute territory business strategy plans, establish the co-selling mechanism with partners, lead industry vertical plays and volume plays to improve long tail customer coverage and growth.
[Job Responsibility] This role requires a high-functioning individual who is comfortable with the following (not exhaustive):
• Identify & engage general business customer (e.g. Gaming and Fintech industry …) or any other customer assigned by Amazon
• Design and execute an integrated territory plan, exploring new GTM models to achieve comprehensive territory business objectives.
• Collaborate with partners to better cover territory customer and accelerate customer adoption of AWS. Ensure customer satisfaction.
• Work closely with internal team with appropriate mechanisms - Manage multiple requests simultaneously & strategically - Maintain robust sales pipeline and associated territory target lists in Salesforce.com.
• Deliver revenue and growth targets for territory business success. Ensure strong customer tier-up momentum for GCR.
