The Tooling Engineer (TE) Intern works closely with teams located in both the US and China throughout the design cycle. As a member of the TE team, you will assist the driving of injection mold manufacturing and qualification. You will assist a Senior TE in closely monitoring and reporting open tooling and molding issues in the supply base.

The Role:
• Work closely with Senior TE team members in monitoring and reporting open issues
• Participate in the review and development of tooling DFM
• Participate in the injection molding trials, recommend solutions from tooling, molding, product design point of views
• Assist in the organization of technical data documentation throughout the development cycle including FAI, CMK, CPK, and DFM
• Travel domestically and internationally to supplier sites as projects require
• Can work 5 days per week during summer holiday for at least 3 months duration
• Is willing to work in Shenzhen
