Oracle Applications Labs (OAL) organization runs the applications that run Oracle, develops enhancements and shares best practices with customers.
We are responsible for implementing, maintaining, upgrading, and extending almost all the modules of Oracle Applications.
We are also working on developing new products which will work as plug and play with Oracle Applications.
We are currently seeking a talented and energetic UI Developer to join our team and work from our Hungarian office.
Being part of the OAL team provides opportunity to work on the Oracle's Cloud CRM applications and their integration with other related modules using feature-rich JavaScript Framework (OJET), Java EE and Spring technologies, Apache Kafka and Solr, Oracle Middleware and database technologies.
This team member will also provide mentorship and guidance to developers across teams on how to develop performant, reusable, and scalable SaaS applications that are ready to run on any PaaS.
Detailed Description and Job Requirements\:
• Work with Oracle’s world class technology to develop, implement and support Oracle’s global infrastructure.
• As a member of the IT organization, you will assist with the analysis of existing complex programs and formulate logic for new complex internal systems.
• Participate in implementing modern, feature rich responsive UI which is continuously evolving to always serve the business need
• Contribute individually and as a team member.
• Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization.
Skills/Experience\:
• Programming experience in any object-oriented or functional programming language, strong JavaScript/Typescript knowledge is a plus.
• Competency in any of the following technologies\: JavaScript, Typescript, HTML5, CSS3, SASS, jQuery, Knockout, REST
• Experience with Single Page Applications, consuming RESTful APIs, Web Components
• Desire to learn and master JavaScript and HTML
• Desire to learn Oracle's Open Source JavaScript library (OJET)
• Collaborate with back end developers to ensure seamless integration of UI with back end services
• Solid analytical and problem solving skills.
• A BS/MS degree in Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent discipline is a plus.
!|!Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will perform high-level design based on provided external specifications. Specify, design and implement minor changes to existing software architecture. Build highly complex enhancements and resolve complex bugs. Build and execute unit tests and unit plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering as necessary to discuss minor changes to product functionality and to ensure quality and consistency across specific products.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
