The Internet of Things and Blockchain Applications Cloud team is looking for a frontend software developer. Would you like to join a team responsible for the design and development of the top-notch Internet of Things Intelligent Applications and the Intelligent Track and Trace Application Cloud System? We are looking for an experienced engineer but we are also open to enthusiastic junior, so don't hesitate and apply!

Our IoT analytics platform is based on Spark and Kafka. Intelligent Track and Trace uses Oracle Blockchain Cloud and Helidon based microservices with the Oracle JET in the frontend.  

We leverage an agile development methodology (scrum) to facilitate the development of our products. Our development practices include empowered scrum teams, continuous build and integration, bi-weekly sprint reviews, and a heavy emphasis on testing early and often. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Candidate will be responsible for:

• Software design & coding of the presentation layer of Internet of Things Intelligent Applications and Blockchain Applications Cloud Systems
• UI development using Oracle JET, HTML, CSS, REST, JavaScript, TypeScript, ElasticSearch, JQuery, AJAX etc.
• Development using the GitLab, continuous integration tools, Unit testing tools/frameworks
• Ensuring high quality code is delivered, including delivering unit tests and automation.
• Participating in code reviews.
• Assessing and estimating work loads.
• Self managing development time.
• Working closely with Product Architects, Product Managers, Quality Assurance, and other development teams.
• Communicating effectively with an international team, both written and verbally.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility, HTML document architecture, and usability principles
• Excited about technology, have a strong interest in learning about and playing with the latest technologies and building compelling web applications and UI
• Understanding of web services technologies and standards such as HTTP, WSDL, and XSD.
• Experience with Oracle JET

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
