You

We seek an Experience Designer and a User Researcher to join the Oracle NetSuite product team, who are excited to collaborate and work closely with cross-functional teams worldwide. You should have some experience with UX design or research, and a bonus if you’ve studied design thinking.

You will work closely with mentors with many years of experience in Design and Research and a cross-functional team to help deliver against a roadmap, execute research at all stages of the end-to-end design process and keep customer insights alive during product development design. You will be part of the International Product team that focuses on the last-mile localisation of NetSuite for customers in the EMEA region.

 

What You’ll Do

Collaborate with experienced User Experience Researchers, Designers, Product Management, and other cross-functional stakeholders to help either support research initiatives or design experiences.

  • Be provided opportunities to help execute and deliver user research or design at various stages of the development lifecycle, including formative and generative research, creation of wireframes and prototypes, validation research and measurement of final product experiences.
  • Produce design deliverables that communicate design solutions and facilitate discussion.
  • Look at usage metrics and customer feedback to highlight patterns and areas of focus that may need attention.

 

These are hands-on roles and include helping with participant recruitment, data collection, data synthesis and analysis, and delivery of design recommendations.

 

Required Skills/Experience

For consideration, we are looking for two individuals who have the following:

  • Graduated in the last 12 months.
  • Authorised to work in Brno, CZ or Barcelon,a ES.

 

Preferred qualifications include having project experience, work experience, or academic coursework and knowledge of design tools/software language experience in two or more of the following areas:

  • Information architecture, wireframing, storyboarding, visualisation, prototyping, sketching, surveying, user research, personas, and user testing.
  • Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, Dreamweaver, After Effects, etc.); Figma; Sketch; InVision; Principle; Axure; Balsamiq; or equivalent. Basic SQL database management/searches.
  • Knowledge of both concept-creation and evaluative research and associated methodologies

Responsible for creating, evaluating and modifying prototypes to support evolving hardware and software application development.

As a member of the User Experience team, you will develop and apply software design/usability processes in the investigation of technical problems. May develop user profiles, with emphasis on human error control, display issues, visual interaction, physical manipulation and task and objective analyses. Provide product usability, evaluation and support to product development teams, including the analysis and investigation of applications/systems including tactile methods, visual graphics, web, multimedia, voice response and conversational user interaction. May assist in developing design concept and implementation, providing input on user design considerations. May produce specifications describing user needs and internal structures for product in development.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Typically one year of software engineering or related experience needed.
