Job Role - UX / UI Designer

We are seeking an experienced UX / UI Designer to help us

• Design high fidelity mock-up screens as per usability guidelines
• Conduct Usability Review - Heuristics and Expert Review
• Conduct Usability Testing

Job Qualifications

• At least 6+ years Professional Experience as an interactive designer / user experience designer, designing user facing applications
• Experience with web and mobile design (iOS and/or Android)
• Should possess a strong sense of aesthetics to create a high-class visual language for the applications.
• The ability to quickly turn around detailed wireframes, mock-ups, or visual comps in an iterative environment.
• Proficiency with web standards and accessibility compliance.
• Strong visual portfolio with demonstrated examples of designing an application experience.
• Understanding of CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and other web technologies
• Experience in BFSI domain
• Experience assisting user research or usability studies is a plus

Job responsibilities

·        Continuously improve the design and drive implementation of existing applications

·        Support product and development teams.

·        Design and maintain tools and standards to help others design for our platform

·        Drive the adoption of standard implementations of UI components

·        Defining patterns and advocating for consistency without restricting innovation

·        Contribute to design documentation, style guides, and specifications.

 

Responsible for creating, evaluating and modifying prototypes to support evolving hardware and software application development.

As a member of the User Experience team, you will develop and apply software design/usability processes in the investigation of technical problems. May develop user profiles, with emphasis on human error control, display issues, visual interaction, physical manipulation and task and objective analyses. Provide product usability, evaluation and support to product development teams, including the analysis and investigation of applications/systems including tactile methods, visual graphics, web, multimedia, voice response and conversational user interaction. May assist in developing design concept and implementation, providing input on user design considerations. May produce specifications describing user needs and internal structures for product in development.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Typically four years of software engineering or related experience needed.
