Job Description
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and develop Oracle server management system (ILOM，based on embedded Linux) to support new server, develop new features to improve the management and diagnosis capability.
- Co-work with Oracle global hardware，BIOS, OS and service teams to root-cause and fix issues, and deliver new ILOM release.
- Support manufacturing and the field in applications of ILOM to reduce manufacturing and service costs.
- Reviewing hardware designs.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Experienced in C language and script programming.
- Experienced in developing and debugging embedded Linux uboot,driver and application.
- Has knowledge on Linux, ARM architecture,networking,PCIe,I2C,USB and GPIO.
- Familiar with software development process.
- Highly self-motivated in study and work.
- Good communication in Chinese and English.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE
- Server management(IPMI,KCS/BT,SNMP and etc).
- X86 architectures, BIOS and operating systems.
- Intel Xeon processors and associated chipsets.
YEARS OF WORKING EXPERIENCE
8 years or more.
EDUCATION
BS or MS !|!Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.!|!
