Job Description
What are my main responsibilities?
- Drive Operational Excellence by digitalization levers within SI DS China Operation Companies and BU Operations
- Design and build up an e-reporting & controlling concept, with support from SI DS BA
- Define and establish standard digitalization tool kit to avoid standalone solutions
- Foster development and integration of scalable solutions based on low code concepts
- Identify and realize of digital process automatization
- Act as an intermediate between business, Operational Excellence and IT
- Establish data quality mindset and big data analysis
Further tasks and responsibilities include
- Participate in the Digitalization Community within the organization and foster exchange of information and innovative ideas
- Support and oversee automatization activities within SI DS China Operation Companies
- Bachelor degree or above, computer science/computer engineering, information management/information systems, mechanical & industrial engineering and or equivalent
- General understanding of broad business practices including production management, advanced manufacturing strategies, lean tools and cost management & budget reporting
- General knowledge of operation technology and information technology and at least 3 - 5 years working experience
- Strong interest and understanding of new technologies
- Advanced English skills in both oral and written
- Excellent ability to write, speak and present information effectively
- Background in power distribution systems is a plus
What else do I need to know?
- Be familiar with RPA software is a plus
- Knowledge of ERP, MES systems is a plus
- Be comfortable with the business environment, pro-active communication and collaboration skills and mindsets with stakeholders
- Constantly refreshing the knowledge of information and industry technologies
- Project management skills to manage continuous improvement projects, turnaround projects and automatization projects
