We are looking for a highly skilled program manager as individual contributor that can drive agile program and project management functiions in a new team. This person will help in developing and making sure process is clearly defined, documented, understood and communicated while also working directly with scrum teams to deliver production to our customers. 

Tasks\:

  • Overall project management of various projects, work streams, sub streams, execution or enablement squads
  • Develop and manage an communication plan to continuously educate and provide updates about NSX to the broader product and cloud ops teams
  • Develop and manage staffing plans, transition plans, budgets for product line
  • Develop and document processes, policies and guidelines in support of the effective execution of product features
  • Work closely with the rest of the people workstream, leadership teams and all other workstreams
  • Review and tune process improvements across the product initiative
  • Establish interfaces and processes between the product execution teams and the product and cloud ops team
  • Review and establish change management processes 
  • Oversee, through agile processes, multiple scrum teams

!|!Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product.

Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 5 years of project management, product design or related experience preferred.
