Agency Sales Partner EMEA - Oracle Advertising, Activation. Location Germany
Job Description
Agency Sales Partner is responsible for relationship management and revenue growth across a defined patch of Central and Eastern European agency and brand customers (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Eastern Europe and Nordic). You will work alongside your colleagues in Account management, Platforms and Sales to produce objectives that tie in with the overall EMEA strategy. Delivering revenue growth and achievement of individual agency targets for all Oracle Activation products (Contextual Intelligence) while contributing to a thriving sales culture and team ethic.
You will manage the strategic engagement with all agencies in your patch and ensure that our target personas are consistently engaged:
- Account / Business Devpt
- Technology / Product Devpt
- Comms Planning / Strategy
- Activation / Buying
- Data Sciences / Analytics
Reporting to the Head of Agency Sales EMEA, you will be a key member of the team, your team ethic and collaboration will be of the highest order. You will be responsible for setting specific goals for your patch and whilst ensuring that your output delivers towards the teams’ overall objectives.
Specific Responsibilities
Leadership & Ownership: Point person for your patch of agencies and customers, best of breed engagement, the best example of sales excellence within the market. Ownership of your revenue number, a clear plan for achieving and ability to develop and execute the sales pipeline
Agency War Room: Build up a clear picture of all relevant individuals in the Oracle key personas and ensure they are engaged with the relevant Oracle Activation product suite.
Revenue Growth and commercial strategy: Develop and execute with dual focus on near-term goals and building foundations for sustainable long-term revenue growth. Understand and activate new commercial models for in market growth
Motivation: Poses a clear and focused attitude that will deliver exceptional financial results; delivery of client service excellence; maximize job satisfaction and guide your personal development.
Collaborate effectively with all Oracle teams including market based Rest of EMEA Agency, EMEA Account Management, business development, Channel Partnerships, Marketing, Product and GTM teams.
Evangelism and Education: Ensure that your agencies have the tools and understanding they need to be successful in recommending Oracle Activation solutions to their clients.
Team Coordination: Ask the right questions, Identify the right resources and present the best solutions. This requires working across different groups, from sales and product teams with deep vertical expertise in analytics and marketing.
Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years in sales or business development function, ideally with 2 year minimum programmatic experience, within an ad-network, AdTech platform, publisher or agency function.
- Languages: German Primary, Polish, Romanian, Scandinavian, other relevant as secondary.
- Proven mid level DACH and Or Eastern Europe/Nordic Agency network.
- Solid grasp of how the sales process works and what is required to identify and maximise results. Pipeline management and forecasting.
- Sound knowledge of programmatic targeting and verification space.
- Demonstrated track record building and growing revenue across assigned accounts at DACH or Eastern/Nordic Agencies.
- Knowledge of digital advertising processes and techniques. Solid understanding of ad-tech ecosystem.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships over time, converting transactional relationships to trusted partnerships.
- Ability to identify, forecast and convert.
- Strong energy, drive and enthusiasm balanced with patience and persistence
- Solid verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in teams and be flexible within a dynamic environment
Builds long term, strategic relationships with named and vertical business alliance partners.
Facilitates the development of strategic marketing and new business plans for all assigned partners to meet or exceed assigned business goals. Works with Partners to identify opportunities and create demand through lead generation activities and target account selling strategies. Actively track joint sales pipeline and meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets. Develop and maintain relationships with global counterparts to leverage corporate initiatives and to ensure adherence to Alliances and Channel standards. Monitor partners business results, making recommendations for improvements to increase penetration for the strategic partners. Establish rules of engagement and operational escalation procedures to quickly identify and resolve issues.
Demonstrated track record developing and managing Global Partnerships and driving Partner account activity. Prefer strong analytical, sales channel and marketing skills. Prefer 5 years of related experience. Secondary education in Marketing or a related field preferred.
