Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to lead and manage multiple operations of the tax practice area i.e. Duty Stamp/Tra-Sarn and to deliver quality tax services, that will increase firm’s reputation & tax compliance. You will serve as a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within timeframe.  Meanwhile, building relationships and interacting with clients/tax office to provide excellent planning, consulting, expertise and delivering at maximizing engagement to achieve qualitative outcomes.

 

Responsibilities

  • Prepare all tax papers in regular basis and handle all information data requests/document management for audit purpose.
  • Deliver a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within timeframe
  • Build relationships and interact with clients/Tax office to provide excellent planning, consulting and expertise
  • Provide innovative tax planning and review complex income tax returns
  • Identify and mitigate tax risks, or minimize tax penalty at zero
  • Coordinate accounting staffs to complete tax processing
  • Manage tax provision and tax compliance process
  • Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices
  • Manage and coordinate tax audits
  • Working closely with National Account Manager to achieve contract booking

Requirements and skills

  • Proven work experience as a Tax Manager, minimum 5 years
  • Excellent knowledge of tax compliance and all types of tax returns
  • Knowledge of tax laws/regulations and MS Office
  • Good at meeting deadlines and solving problems
  • Exceptional client service along with the ability to develop excellent client/Tax office relationships
  • Analytical skills with detail orientation
  • BA in Accounting or Business Administration
Provides programs to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and compliance in support of the organization*s financial and tactical business objectives. Provides business practices and processes. Develops, communicates, and trains the organization on business practices and processes.

Serve as a liaison with other divisions such as Finance, Contracts, HR, Legal, Shared Services, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, and Risk Management in an effort to ensure accurate and timely transaction processing. Collect, input, verify, correct, and analyze data to measure key performance indicator actual versus business objectives. Provide updates to management regarding budget to actual, informing them of deviations and opportunities. Provide management with economic impact and compliance issues surrounding key business decisions and/or deals. Communicate Oracle Business Practices to the organization and monitor process and approvals for full compliance. Drive implementation of new processes and procedures.

Work involves some problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and procedures. Attention to detail critical. Ability to collect, organize, and display data in spreadsheet format. Follow-through skills necessary to get information from internal and third parties and have data errors/omissions corrected. Relationship management skills strongly desired. Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with management and possible clients desired. 0 - 2 years relevant work experience.
