Job Description

In partnership with Regional General Managers develops and manages a business development strategy. Strategy and implementation will require alignment with Sales, Solution and cross line of business teams. The role requires an in depth knowledge of hybrid and multi-cloud implementation approaches and how to leverage global references and capabilities. Enjoys presenting and working with CxO level customers to engage in innovation, service alignment and passing back business requirements to sales and solutioning teams.

 

  • Partners with Account, Technology, and Application sales representatives to qualify new business on Oracle solutions.
  • Provides specific industry or product expertise to facilitate the closing of deals within sales representative’s territory (Indonesia)
  • Interacts with sales team to architect the solution, and develop and execute solution strategies for market.
  • Manages solution opportunities to obtain appropriate and necessary resources for all qualified opportunities.
  • Leads teams in the sales process for establishing market visibility and deal visibility.
  • Presents/demonstrates solution to high level clients and industry conference attendees.
  • May provide training to field sales on industry/solutions.
  • Builds and maintains a network and up to date specific industry or product knowledge.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • This is a senior role.  Oracle Business Development typically have at least 8+ years of experience in relevant IT services, Financial Services Industry & Government Sector experience
  • Business development or sales growth track record with results
  • Understand the sales process and be able to overcome objections by genuinely caring & learning about the prospects business needs and showing them the value that Oracle can provide.
  • Perfect the ability to articulate and deliver prepared sales talks that describe Oracle and value in order to entice prospects to learn more about the Hardware solutions offers.
  • Relevant experience in business IT Hardware sales /solutioning experience.
  • Extensive, broad-based expertise across large scale project-based IT design/deploy/migrate type services engagements and also in the area of mission critical production operations and support.  They have proven experience in industry standard project delivery and service management best practice.  
  • Broad understanding of typical enterprise applications, IT infrastructures, public and on-premises cloud, including but not limited to Oracle technologies.
  • Significant CxO Sales presentation experience and interaction experience in consulting and trusted advisor roles with C-level executives in relation to IT services articulating service and technology solutions in terms of business value and risk.

 

Overlay sales personnel providing specialist product expertise to the sales force.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8 years applicable experience preferred. Subject matter expertise in industry/product space. Knowledge of key industry leaders and management. Knowledge of Oracle competition. Presentation and product demonstration experience. Previous consultative selling experience preferred. Excellent communication, negotiating, and closing skills with prospects and customers. Travel may be needed. BA/BS degree in related field.
