Senior Implementation Consultant – Oracle Hospitality – Hotel Industry- Are you passionate about Hotels? Are you ‘Tech Savvy’ and understand how great technology can help the Hotel Industry? Would you like to combine both your passions?

This is a very exciting Senior Implementation Consultant role in the Oracle Hospitality Consulting department, providing our customers with professional and efficient services to implement our Hotel solutions. This is an ideal role for someone who is passionate about delivering projects successfully to Hotel customers. You need to be the kind of person who does not need to be micro-managed and you will need plenty of energy to help you navigate through this wonderfully complex and fast-moving world.

The Senior Implementation Consultant’s primary purpose is to provide the delivery of our Hotel Software PMS project to our customers. Working in conjunction with Sales Representatives, Hotel Consulting Implementation Director, project management team, Presales and other Team Leaders, the Implementation Consultant provides guidance on implementation, configuration and training. You need to be an excellent "People Person" for this!

You will operate under minimal supervision and achieve results through strong subject matter expertise, leadership, collaboration, and teamwork. The ability to communicate effectively with team members and others within the customer organization is a must.

The position includes installation and configuration activities, managers and end-users trainings, through to the customer live process and post live assistance. These activities are performed either on premises or remotely.

The Implementation Consultant is a key team member for a successful project delivery and works very closely with the Project Manager to keep all project stakeholders informed of progress and challenges with the delivery activities on a regular basis through to successful project completion.

Part of this role taking ownership of the completion and maintenance of all company paperwork in a timely, accurate and efficient manner in line with Oracle guidelines. We expect this person to attend any relevant training course which is set to improve knowledge and expertise on the Oracle Hospitality solutions.

 

Essential Skills, Education and Work Experience

 

• 10 years’ experience in the Hotel industry is a minimum requirement.

• A strong experience with IT solutions implementation in the Hotel or Hospitality Sector is required.

• The position requires to be fluent German & English as many of the teams involved are spread across Europe.

• The position is based in Germany – Berlin, Duesseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg or Munich, with possible travels in the EMEA and outside of EMEA

Senior-level implementation professional who performs high-profile, complex, or very large implementations.

Analyze business needs and provide recommendations on how to program the product hierarchy to address the customer’s specifications. Write custom reports and exports, and make modifications to the solution to meet customer's needs. Assist with end-user training and take the hotel live on the system after everything has been configured and everyone is trained. Mentor and develop lower level Implementation Consultants. May assist in a presales capacity to help drive sale.

5-7 years of experience relevant to this position including 2 years consulting experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to area of focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
