Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying technology / application to client business. You will facilitate customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks, as well as providing sales and support. This role will focus on customers in Indonesia.
As a Senior Technology and Cloud Architect you will be act as the expert for formulating and leading presales technical / functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. You will act as a technical resource and mentor less experienced solution architects. Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions. Develops productivity tools and training for other Sales Consultants. Develops and delivers outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Leads any and all aspects of the technical sales process. Advises internal and external clients on overall architect solutions.
Overview
- Being a recognized subject matter expert for IT infrastructure management (experience of planning and designing of cloud infrastructure, platform, data center, server, storage, RDBMS, data management and middleware)
- Experienced in architecting, building, and maintaining applications on cloud platforms preferably in Oracle Cloud
- Engage with customer accounts to determine/create business needs; identify and develop opportunities, and develop solutions by leveraging Oracle Cloud technologies
- Deliver successful customer engagements leading to increased consumption
- Work closely and collaboratively as one team with customer applications team members and Oracle Cloud platform team
- Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication
Responsibilities
- Provide presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision, through on-line/in person sales efforts
- Act as a go-to technical resource for less experienced solution architects and sales representatives
- Develop and delivering high quality Oracle presentations and demonstrations
- Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, product future direction and overall Oracle solutions
- Design, validate and present Oracle solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products
- Develop and manage references through high quality technical, professional client relationships
- Excellent communication skills are required as many engagements are at C-levels at the customers
Requirements
- University Degree in Computer Sciences or similar IT related fields
- Minimum 8 years hands on enterprise and solution architecture experience (implementation /consulting/operation) required
- Have a deep understanding of the competitors equivalent cloud offerings and OCI competitive differentiators
- Hands on expertise in some of the core Oracle technology products is required e.g. WebLogic, Middleware, Oracle Database, Exadata etc. Thorough knowledge of system and application design and deployment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques
- Certification in cloud technologies will be an advantage
As a Senior Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision. Acts as a technical resource for less experienced Sales Consultants. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, product future direction and overall Oracle solutions. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products. Develop and manage reference sites through high quality technical, professional client relationships.
Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 5 years relevant computer applications or database/tools. Demonstrated proficiency in one multi-user operating system. Through knowledge of system and application design. Strong verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems with accounts in complex technical environments. Ability to travel as needed. BS degree or equivalent; advanced degree desirable.
