Intermediate consulting position operating independently with some assistance and guidance to provide quality work products to a project team or customer that comply with Oracle methodologies and practices. Performs standard duties and tasks with some variation to implement Oracle Cloud SCM products and technology to meet customer specifications.
Within Oracle Consulting, our SCM consultants support Enterprise Architects with solution design for prospective and existing customers. Analyses business needs to help ensure Oracle solution meets the customer’s objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen. Exercises judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques to deliver functional and technical solutions on non-routine and very complex aspects of applications and technology installations. Resolves complex customer issues by recommending and implementing solutions. Demonstrates expertise in multiple business processes across two or more product families or ability to design technology solutions encompassing multiple products and make decisions based on impact across the stack.
Currently a need exists for several Oracle Supply Chain Roles.These solutions span the Oracle Fusion SaaS products from Maintenance and across all of the SCM function including Inventory Management, Order Management, Procurement, Manufacturing, Planning, the use of IoT, AI, Block Chain, as well as the ERP related domains such as accounts payables and costing.
Standard assignments are accomplished without assistance by exercising independent judgment, within defined policies and processes, to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements.
- Minimum of 3 European languages on a proficient level. German and English preferred.
- 1-3 years of overall experience in relevant Supply Chain Management roles.
- Undergraduate degree
- Previous Oracle SCM Cloud product knowledge, certifications and implementation experience using Oracle Consulting TCM methods required.
- Ability to travel for extended periods across EMEA.
Responsibilities
- To act as a trusted advisor to clients during Oracle Cloud SCM product deployments
- To deliver customer solutions with Oracle.
- To be commercially astute when engaging and advising a client.
- To act as ambassadors for Oracle application solutions throughout a customer engagement
- Take full ownership of “best practice” of your competency area, covering the whole strategic footprint
- Engage in Industry and Domain forums and actively promote Oracle SCM.
As a member of a project team, follows standard practices and procedures to analyze situations/data and provide quality work products to deliver functional and technical solutions on applications and technology installations. Work involves some problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying relevant Oracle methodologies and practices. Implements Oracle products and technology in various industries to meet customer specifications.
1-3 years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Demonstrates competence in a minimum of one product or technology area. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
